FAQ

Why should I care how many websites are linking to me?

If you think of it as a popularity contest, the more websites which are linking to your homepage, the more “votes” you are receiving, which will in turn improve your position within the “search engine ranking positions” (SERPS). The more links which you have pointing to your site the higher placing you will receive from Google, Bing and Yahoo, therefore increasing the levels of traffic which you will receive for your keywords.

How can I get more backlinks?

There are lots of ways to get backlinks. You can build them yourself through a variety of different methods, including link exchanges with other websites or blogs, forum posts, newsgroups, article marketing, web 2.0 properties, comments on other websites and a whole host of other methods. Each of these things will help your website, it really is a case of having the time to find the high Page Ranking sites which it is extremely important to have pointing to your website. Of course the alternative is to buy this service.  This is what we do!

If I have too many links pointing to my website will this harm my ranking?

If you were to only have one type of site pointing to your website on a mass scale, i.e. thousands of the same type of site, these links on some occasions my be ignored by the search engines. However, we have tested the types of links which we use on a regular basis and are confident that they are not contentious in any way. We personally own multiple websites which we have successfully utilised the backlinking methods described here. We would not want to harm anyone’s website and would only use technology and techniques which are tried and tested on our own sites.

In simple terms, the more links you have pointing at your site alongside the relevant keywords, the more likely your website is to appear in the search engines for your specific keyword terms.

How long will the links last for?

From time to time some website owners will change their policies in terms of the links which they will allow on their sites. Therefore we cannot guarantee that all of the links will last forever. However, due to wide variety of sites which we use, and the number of links which we place, we are absolutely confident that a large proportion of the links which we build will be placed for the foreseeable future.

What happens if Google change their algorithm?

Due to the nature of the links which we place, including directory submissions, social bookmarking and also the nature of the backlinks which we build, if there was a significant shift in Google’s positioning we would look to adopt the most appropriate techniques which are available at the time.  So this may include building more Web 2.0 properties and creating alternative types of links.
